ZOOoOOoOooOoOOO

It was a great day at the zoo.  THe students loved seeing the  animals. We also learned about different animal adaptations and will continue those lessons in the classroom over the next few weeks.

We have a few other field trips coming up, so look forward to those, soon!

Parent Survey

Parent Survey

Thank You parents for all you do to help.  We are a team!  As a teacher, I am always looking for ways that I can help you and your child with school.  Watterson Lake is committed to helping each child become a success story!

So that we may do our best and help your child do their best, I've designed a survey.  This anonymous survey will give me feedback on how YOU think we can help.  Just click the link to travel to Survey Monkey:

Parents, Thanks again for all you do.

Informational Paragraphs

Students this week worked on reading informational text, taking notes, and then writing informational paragraphs.  The students then revised and editted their work before publishing it on a padlet.  The students added an image to help the reader with the text.  Great job students!  I love my 4th grade digital  creators!!!

Columbus Blue Jackets Reading Challenge

This November, the students in room 203 are participating in a HOME READING CHALLENGE sponsored by the Columbus Blue Jackets.  This program encourages parents to get involved with reading at home.  All you have to do is reading for 20 minutes a night with your child at least 4 nights a week in NOVEMBER.  After Thanksgiving break, I will total the students who have turned in their slips.  I will submit the students names to the Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey Team and the students will receive a prize!  I hope all students are participating at home.
